| When our beloved French girl, Namour, gave birth to a beautiful litter of blue puppies, my husband fell in love with a big husky boy. He was named "Trunk" because his fat little legs looked like tree trunks.. He grew into a big tall good looking boy. After a few preliminary shows, I turned Trunk over to professional handler, Lorrie Richer, and in May, 2004 Trunk took his first 4 pt. major win. Over the next four months his accomplishments in the show ring were a whirlwind of success.... With 4 major wins and 3 single points, Trunk became DeWitt's Court's first Champion in September, 2004, with Teresa LaBrie handling, and was the first natural eared blue in AKC history to complete a championship campaign with 4 major wins... We are very proud of his success. Trunk added to his accomplishments by an appearance at Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in February, 2005, and by winning an Award of Merit at the GDCA National Specialty in Phoenix, Az in October, 2005. Trunk also completed his Canadian Championship in the spring of 2005. In April, 2006, Trunk added his International Championship in Lexintgon, Ky. Trunk was owner handled for his Canadian and International championships. |
